Each season introduces a new Seasonal Artifact, which provides temporary, powerful mods and perks that significantly influence the meta. Leveling up your Artifact (by gaining XP) unlocks these mods, which can then be slotted into your armor.
Key Features:
- Anti-Champion Mods: Essential for high-level PvE content (Overload, Unstoppable, Barrier). These rotate each season.
- Weapon Perks: Enhance specific weapon types or archetypes.
- Ability Perks: Boost subclass abilities or interactions.
- Economy Perks: Reduce mod energy costs.
- Bonus Power Level: The Artifact also grants a temporary Power Level bonus, which increases as you gain XP.
The Artifact is reset at the start of each new season, forcing players to adapt their builds and strategies. Always check the current season's Artifact for powerful synergies and necessary Champion counters.
