Choosing Your Class: Hunter, Warlock, or Titan?

Destiny 2 offers three distinct classes, each with unique abilities, playstyles, and lore. Your choice will significantly impact your early game experience and how you approach combat. You can create multiple characters, so don't feel locked into your first choice.

Hunter

• Playstyle: Agile, precise, and often focused on critical hits and evasive maneuvers. Excellent for solo play and dealing burst damage.
• Class Ability: Dodge (quickly evades attacks, reloads weapons, or grants melee energy).
• Subclasses: Arcstrider (melee-focused, chain lightning), Gunslinger (precision, golden gun), Nightstalker (stealth, crowd control, debuffs).
• Best For: Players who enjoy high mobility, precision aiming, and tactical positioning.

Warlock

• Playstyle: Masters of elemental energy, supporting allies, and unleashing devastating area-of-effect attacks.
• Class Ability: Rift (creates a healing or empowering zone for allies).
• Subclasses: Dawnblade (aerial combat, healing/burning), Stormcaller (arc lightning, area denial), Voidwalker (nova bomb, energy drain).
• Best For: Players who enjoy casting powerful spells, supporting teammates, and controlling the battlefield.

Titan

• Playstyle: Frontline defenders, tanky, and focused on close-quarters combat and protective abilities.
• Class Ability: Barricade (creates a protective shield).
• Subclasses: Striker (fist of havoc, arc melee), Sentinel (void shield, protective bubbles), Sunbreaker (solar hammers, burning).
• Best For: Players who prefer to be in the thick of the fight, absorbing damage, and leading charges.
