Beyond your initial class choice, Destiny 2 features two main categories of subclasses: Light and Darkness. Each class has access to three Light-based subclasses (Arc, Solar, Void) and one Darkness-based subclass (Stasis, with Strand being the second Darkness subclass introduced in Lightfall).
Light Subclasses (Arc, Solar, Void)
