The Director is your in-game map and mission selection hub. Access it by pressing 'Tab' (PC) or the touchpad/view button on consoles. It's divided into several sections:
- Destinations: Where you select planets, moons, and other locations to visit. Each destination has patrol zones, Lost Sectors, Public Events, and specific missions.
- Crucible: Player-vs-Player (PvP) combat modes.
- Gambit: A hybrid PvPvE mode.
- Vanguard: Player-vs-Environment (PvE) activities like Strikes and Nightfalls.
- Seasonal: Activities related to the current game season.
- Quests: Tracks all your active quests and bounties.
- Roster: Shows your friends list and fireteam members.
Always check the Director for available activities, quest markers, and powerful/pinnacle reward indicators. Understanding how to navigate it efficiently is key to progressing and finding content.
