The Tower is your primary social hub and a safe haven from the dangers of the Solar System. Here, you can interact with various vendors, decrypt Engrams, pick up bounties, and access your Vault. Key vendors include the Cryptarch (for Engram decryption), the Gunsmith (for weapon orders and bounties), the Postmaster (for lost items), and your Faction representatives (Vanguard, Crucible, Dead Orbit, Future War Cult, New Monarchy). The Reef, introduced in House of Wolves, also serves as a social space with its own set of vendors and activities. Regularly visit these social spaces to upgrade your gear, turn in bounties for experience and reputation, and prepare for your next adventure.
