Gambit is a unique hybrid activity that blends elements of both PvE and PvP. Two teams of four Guardians race to defeat enemies, collect Motes of Darkness, and summon a Primeval boss, all while having the opportunity to invade the opposing team's arena.

How Gambit Works:
- Kill Enemies & Collect Motes: Defeat waves of enemies to collect Motes.
- Deposit Motes: Deposit Motes at your team's bank. Depositing 5, 10, or 15 Motes sends a small, medium, or large Blocker to the enemy's bank, respectively. Blockers drain the enemy's bank and prevent them from depositing Motes.
- Invade: After depositing 25 and 50 Motes, a portal opens, allowing one player to invade the enemy team's arena for a short period. Invaders can kill enemy Guardians to heal their Primeval or delay their Mote collection.
- Summon Primeval: Once a team deposits 75 Motes, they summon their Primeval boss.
- Defeat Primeval: Damage the Primeval. Killing envoys that spawn around the Primeval grants a damage buff. The first team to defeat their Primeval wins the round.
Rewards:
- Gambit Engrams: Earned by playing matches and ranking up with the Drifter.
- Unique Weapons & Armor: Specific gear can only be acquired through Gambit activities.
- Pinnacle Gear: Available from weekly challenges.
Gambit requires a balance of PvE efficiency, strategic Mote management, and PvP prowess during invasions. Communication with your fireteam is key to success.
