Examine three areas: the image to the left of the door (footprints), the main door (relief), and the top of the door (snow). Also, examine the switch on the ground to the right of the door.
  4. 4
To interview the Pokemon, return to the area with the Ursaring and Monferno. Go past Monferno to find a path leading to the Quiz Professor and some Lotad. Interact with the Lotad and ask about themselves, the place, and if they've seen Professor Gordon.
  5. 5
Head back to the Monferno and interact with it. Ask about itself, the snow, and if it has seen Professor Gordon.

Next, talk to Chris's partner, Munchlax. Ask about itself, the Professor's Slowpoke, and Professor Gordon. After asking about Professor Gordon, inquire about the Pokemon in the tree.
  7. 7
Go left from the ruin entrance as far as possible, then head south to find a tree. Interact with the tree to make a Passimian appear. Ask the Passimian about itself, the ruins, and Professor Gordon.
  8. 8
After the cutscene at the door, you'll need to make choices to open it. Select 'The tile with the unique design'.
  9. 9
The puzzle to open the door is presented. The correct solution is 'Press both switches'. This will open the ruin entrance, leading to Southern Ruins B1.
  10. 10
Upon entering Southern Ruins B1, a cutscene will play. Head straight until another cutscene triggers.
