Blue Orb

Extend your life gauge in Devil May Cry 4 by finding Blue Orb fragments or purchasing full Blue Orbs for up to 50000 red orbs.

A full Blue Orb may be purchased before a mission or from a Divinity Statue (a shop that sells items). Blue Orbs extend your character's life gauge (HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap) element showing health) by one unit. You can only buy six full Blue Orbs; the rest must be found.

Blue Orb fragments are hidden throughout the game. Four fragments can be combined to form one full Blue Orb.

How to obtain:

1. Purchase: A full Blue Orb can be bought before a mission or from a Divinity Statue. The prices for these purchases increase with each subsequent orb: 3000, 5000, 10000, 15000, 30000, and finally 50000 red orbs.
2. Find Fragments: Blue Orb fragments are hidden in the environment.
3. Secret Missions: Fragments can be received as a prize for completing secret missions.
4. Combat Adjudicator: Fragments can be collected as a prize from a combat adjudicator (an NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you) that judges your fighting performance) once a certain style rank (a measure of combat performance) is reached while hitting one.
