The Campaign - Mars Core

After opening the portal on your ship, kill the Prowler with the Plasma Rifle. Head left, kill Imps, ascend stairs, jump into a vent, and melee the cracked gate.

Continue through, kill the Mech-Soldier, Zombies, Pinky, and Prowlers. Follow the path, melee the grate, drop down, kill Imps and fodder, and enter the teleporter.

Engage the Baron of Hell, a larger, tougher enemy whose slashes radiate projectiles. Use the rocket's lock-on feature and finish with the Plasma Rifle. Eliminate remaining fodder, ascend stairs, and enter the center door for a Rune.

Head left through two doors. Fight a Carcass and Arachnotron with Imps, Soldiers, and Zombies. Use Glory Kills but save Blood Punch. A Cacodemon and more fodder appear; use a grenade and Glory Kill it.

Proceed right and forward. A Cyber-Mancubus appears; use Blood Punch, then finish with your favorite weapon for a Glory Kill. Before advancing past the Soldiers, grab the visible 1-Up.

Pass through the door and head up the ramp. A Baron of Hell and fodder enemies spawn; use rockets to defeat the Baron. Glory Kill fodder for ammo. A Doom Hunter spawns; hit it with the Plasma Rifle to lower its shield, then Blood Punch its sled. Use rockets to finish it. An exit appears in the center; enter it to drop down.

If facing the exit directly, turn around to find a Sentinel Battery on the opposite side. Jump and dash to acquire it.

Head back, drop off the ledge, and dash to enter. Melee the terminal to lower laser gates. Walk through the opening and drop down, killing Zombies and Gargoyls. Use the Auto Map-Station.

Use the rising cylinders to reach upper walkways. On the left side, opposite the exit, find a Suit Perk Point.

Jump/Dash to the other side, pass through the door, and look left for a Codex entry.

Head right, following the path and avoiding alternating flames. At the second pair of flames, a Mancubus appears in front, and a Prowler behind. Kill both and move forward. Turn right where the Mancubus was and interact with the ladder. Watch the scene to acquire the BFG 9000.

After the tutorial, walk forward and use the BFG on the Cacodemons. If needed, fire again. Take the teleporter on your right.

Jump to the platform below (look for green poles), then jump and dash to a Dash Refill, then to a second Dash Refill to cross the gap. Cross the final gap.

On the other side, kill the 3 Zombies and Carcass. Head right from the entrance to find a 1-Up and a Secret you can't access from this side of the blast door.

Return to the previous room and move forward. As you pass through the door, you'll be alerted to a nearby Buff Totem. When you drop down, head left to a blue column; the Totem is directly in front of it. Smash it.

Fight a Hell Knight, Carcass, Dread Knight, Cacodemons, Whiplash, and Mancubus, plus fodder. Use the BFG or specific weapons: rockets for Knights and Mancubus, grenades for Cacodemons, Pulse Rifle for Carcass and Whiplash. Loot the area. A pathway opens in the floor; drop down.

In the next room, melee the wall to the left of the hallway. Drop and dash into an opening to find a Secret Area with armor, ammo, a Suit Perk Point, and a Secret Encounter.

OPTIONAL: Secret Encounter Fight a Revenant, Imps, and Gargoyls. Use the BFG to defeat them quickly.

Head right through the door at the end of the hall. The elevator will raise you. Step out and head right to access the previous secret and grab the Prowler Toy.

Return and use the console. Take the open door to a Rune. Head up, jump the gap, and use the cannon's console.

In the next area, kill Soldiers and Zombies (barrels are nearby). Loot the area and drop to the lower level. Avoid or kill tentacles and use the blue column at the end.

Turn around. The Secret here contains a Cheat Code.

Turn around and head forward. Approach a tentacle; doors open revealing a Gargoyl and more tentacles. Kill them and climb boxes to the next level. A Suit Perk Point is in front of you.

Turn left, double jump, and double dash across the gap. Enter the blue column to reach the next level. Turn around and use the bar to double jump and dash back across. This Secret Area contains…
