Discover the Hub World in Dragon Ball FighterZ, including Practice, Story, Shop, Replay, and Arcade Modes. Learn how to navigate and utilize each area effectively.
Dragon Ball FighterZ features a Hub World accessible upon logging in, serving as a central point for various game activities. Players can customize their Lobby Avatar from a wide selection of characters, some of whom are playable in-game and others are NPCs. The Hub also allows for quick communication with other players using sticker images.
Players can “warp” to different areas within the Hub to access various game modes.
Practice Mode
This mode is recommended for new players to experiment with different characters, understand assist mechanics, and explore team synergy. It also includes a Character Combo Trial mode, where players attempt 10 challenges per character to improve their combo execution and timing.
Story Mode
This mode is where most players will spend their time offline, focusing on unlocking characters and earning Zeni.
Shop Reception
The shop allows players to spend Zeni or Premium Coins to obtain random items. Purchasing 1 item costs 1000 Zeni or 10 Premium Coins, while purchasing 10 items costs 10,000 Zeni or 100 Premium Coins. Items available for purchase include titles, character color variations, Lobby Avatar characters and their alternate colors, and stickers/icons. If a player receives an item they already own, they are instead given a Premium Coin. It is believed that Premium Coins guarantee new content.
Replay Mode
This mode allows players to review their past battles. Unlocked additional announcer voices also become available here.
Arcade Mode
Arcade Mode is a popular offline mode where players choose a course that determines the number of opponents they will face. Unlike some other games, the number of opponents remains constant, but their strength and the player's path on the course adjust based on performance. The three available courses are Snake Way, Extreme Gravity Spaceship, and Hyperbolic Time Chamber, each featuring 3, 5, or 7 opponents respectively. Clearing each course unlocks a Hard version, resulting in six total course options. The difficulty in Hard mode is significantly increased, with AI opponents dealing substantial damage and potentially using input reads.
