Upon entering Stornway, you'll find a bustling town. Your first priority is to speak with the innkeeper, Patty, who runs the Quester's Rest. She will explain the concept of 'Questers' and offer you a place to stay. More importantly, Patty will allow you to recruit additional party members. These party members are customizable, just like your main hero, and you can choose their initial class. It's highly recommended to recruit at least three additional party members immediately to form a full party of four. A balanced party typically includes a Warrior (for physical damage), a Priest (for healing), and a Mage (for offensive spells), alongside your Minstrel hero.
After recruiting your party, explore Stornway thoroughly. Talk to all the NPCs, visit the weapon and armor shops to upgrade your gear if you have enough gold, and check the item shop for essential consumables. The church in Stornway allows you to save your game, revive fallen allies, and cure status ailments. You'll also find your first few side quests available from various NPCs. While not mandatory for the main story, completing these early quests can provide valuable experience, gold, and items, helping you prepare for the challenges ahead. check the well in town for a hidden item!
