Prologue

Begin your journey in Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince! Learn how to escape your father, find a hiding spot, and jump through a mysterious portal to start your monster-collecting adventure.

Walkthrough:

1. You begin in the castle, with the King yelling at Keifer for trying to sneak out. You can't really do anything here except listen to him for a bit. Feel free to wander around and chat with the folks in the room if you want, but eventually, someone will tell you the King is serious this time and you really need to run.
2. Head south towards the stairs to make your escape. Once you're out of that room, the King will lose it and chase after you. He'll eventually catch up and corner you in your own room.
