Achievements/Trophies

Welcome, treasure hunter! This section is dedicated to guiding you through every achievement and trophy in Dragon Quest Treasures. While the game doesn't feature a built-in 100% completion checklist, we've compiled the most comprehensive guide to help you earn every single accolade. Some achievements are straightforward, while others require careful planning and a deep dive into the world of Draconia. Let's get started!

Treasure Hoarder Extraordinaire

This category focuses on your primary objective: collecting treasures. To truly master this, you'll need to go beyond simply finding items.

  • The Treasure Hunter's First Haul: Awarded for finding your very first treasure. This will pop naturally early in the game as you complete the tutorial missions.
  • A Vault of Riches: Collect 100 unique treasures. Focus on exploring every nook and cranny of the five islands: Paternoggin, Maneland, Cinderback Ridge, The Wingswept Moors, and The Hinterlands. use your Fortes (Launch, Glide, Sprint, Stealth, Scan) to reach hidden areas.
  • Master Appraiser: Appraise 500 treasures. This is a grind, but a rewarding one. Prioritize sending out multiple dispatch teams simultaneously to maximize your treasure-finding rate. Remember, the higher your gang's level, the more treasures they can bring back!
  • The Legendary Collector: Obtain all unique treasures listed in your Treasure List. This is the ultimate treasure-hunting challenge.
    • Strategy: Consult external guides or community-made checklists (like the one mentioned in the boards) to track your progress. Some treasures are location-specific, while others are dropped by certain monsters.
    • Treasure Grades: While collecting all grades of every treasure is technically impossible due to game mechanics (low-grade items become rarer as your level increases), aiming for all the highest grades for each unique treasure is a true mark of dedication. This will require repeated expeditions to areas where specific treasures are found, often battling stronger versions of monsters.

Monster Mania

Your monster companions are crucial to your success. These achievements celebrate your bond and prowess in recruiting and managing them.

  • First Friend: Recruit your first monster. This happens early in the story.
  • Monster Menagerie: Recruit 50 different types of monsters.
    • Strategy: Explore all regions thoroughly. Different monster types inhabit different environments. Pay attention to monster weaknesses and use effective attacks to increase your chances of recruiting them after battle.
    • Monster Medals: Some rarer monsters might require specific Monster Medals to recruit. These are often found in higher-level treasure chests or as rare drops from powerful foes.
  • Decorated Den: Equip a decoration on a monster. Once you unlock the ability to customize your monster companions, simply place any decoration on one of them. Decorations can be found as treasures or crafted.
  • The Ultimate Squad: Recruit a monster of every available species. This is a long-term goal.
    • Roster Management: Be aware that your monster roster has a limited size. You may need to release some monsters to make room for new recruits, especially when hunting for specific rare types. Don't worry, you can always re-recruit monsters you've released if you encounter them again.
    • Rare Spawns: Some monster types are exceedingly rare and only appear in specific locations or under certain conditions (e.g., during a specific weather event). Keep an eye on your monster radar and be persistent!

Base Building & Beyond

Your base, the Dragon's Hoard, is your sanctuary and operational hub. These achievements focus on its development and your overall progress.

  • Home Sweet Hoard: Successfully return to your base with treasure for the first time.
  • Expanding Empire: Upgrade your base to its maximum level. This involves investing in various facilities like the Treasure Vault, the Monster Pen, and the Dispatch Station. You'll need a significant amount of gold and specific materials found through treasure hunting.
  • The Golden Touch: Accumulate 1,000,000 gold. This will come naturally as you appraise high-value treasures and complete missions. Prioritize finding "Legendary" grade treasures for maximum profit.
  • Draconia's Darling: Achieve the highest possible rank in the Treasure Hunter's Guild. This requires a combination of appraised treasure value, monsters recruited, and completed quests. Keep an eye on your current rank and the requirements for the next promotion in the guild menu.
