Consistent engagement with daily and weekly activities will significantly boost your progress, ensuring a steady flow of valuable items, experience, and even new recruits. Integrating these routines into your gameplay will make your treasure-hunting journey much smoother and more rewarding.
Daily Routines for Riches
These activities reset every 24 hours, offering fresh opportunities to gather resources and strengthen your gang.
- Daily Dispatch Missions:
- What to do: Head to the Dispatch Station in your base. You'll find a selection of missions available for your monster recruits to undertake automatically.
- Strategy: Prioritize missions that offer rewards you currently need most, such as specific crafting materials (e.g., Glimmering Dew, Sturdy Timber), rare monster tokens, or large sums of gold. As your gang grows, you can send out multiple teams simultaneously. check their success rates – higher-level monsters with appropriate elemental affinities will have better chances.
- Reward Focus: Look for missions that drop Monster Medals for monsters you want to recruit or upgrade, or Treasure Chest Keys to open locked chests found during expeditions.
- Monster Scout Refresh:
- What to do: Visit the Monster Scout at your base. A new selection of monsters available for recruitment will appear daily.
- Strategy: Even if you're not actively looking for new recruits, it's worth checking. You might find a rare monster with excellent stats or a unique talent that complements your current team. Keep an eye out for monsters with high "Treasure Sense" for better treasure detection on expeditions.
- Recruitment Tip: Always have some Monster Munchies or other preferred monster food on hand to increase your chances of a successful recruitment.
- Daily Treasure Map Hunt:
- What to do: Explore the various islands. Each day, new treasure map fragments or even complete maps can spawn in fixed locations or as drops from specific enemies.
- Strategy: Focus on areas known for higher-tier treasures, such as the upper levels of the Paternoggin or the deeper caves of the Cinderback Volcano. Use your monsters' Fortes (e.g., Launch, Glide, Sprint) to quickly traverse the environment and cover more ground.
- Key Locations: Check common monster spawn points near landmarks like the Great Tree or the Ancient Ruins, as enemies here often drop map fragments.
Weekly Challenges and Bounties
These activities reset on a weekly basis, offering more substantial rewards for dedicated effort.
- Weekly Gang Challenges:
- What to do: Check the bulletin board near your base's entrance. New challenges will be posted, often involving defeating a certain number of specific monster types, collecting a quantity of a particular material, or finding a set number of treasures.
- Strategy: Plan your expeditions around these challenges. If a challenge requires defeating Slime Knights, prioritize areas like the Paternoggin where they are abundant. If it's about collecting Rainbow Droplets, focus on exploring watery areas or defeating aquatic monsters.
- Rewards: Completing these challenges often grants significant amounts of Gold, rare crafting components like Orichalcum or Mythril Ore, and sometimes even unique accessories or recipes.
- Rare Monster Bounties:
- What to do: Occasionally, a special bounty for a powerful or rare monster will appear on the bulletin board. These are tougher than standard encounters.
- Strategy: Before attempting a bounty, ensure your party is well-equipped and your monsters are at a suitable level. Stock up on healing items like Medicinal Herbs and Strong Medicine. Research the monster's weaknesses if possible (e.g., fire-type monsters are often weak to ice).
- Location & Rewards: The bounty will specify the monster's general location (e.g., "Deep within the Snoozeveil Heath" or "Near the summit of Mount Hearth"). Defeating these bounties yields extremely valuable treasures, high-tier monster medals, and sometimes unique treasure items that contribute significantly to your vault value.
- Treasure Vault Evaluation:
- What to do: While not an "activity" in the traditional sense, your treasure vault's total value is evaluated weekly.
- Strategy: Make it a weekly goal to find and appraise as many high-value treasures as possible before the reset. Focus on completing treasure maps for legendary treasures and delving into dangerous areas for rare finds.
