Alright, so you've made it to Roundbeck! This is a pretty important place because it's where Bianca calls home when you're just a kid. Keep your eyes peeled, because you'll be back here a few times throughout the game. ### First Generation When you first arrive with your dad, Pankraz, you're here to check on a friend of his named Whitey Whitaker. While Pankraz is doing that, you'll hear the townsfolk talking about some spooky noises coming from the north. This is also where you'll properly meet Bianca. She's super eager to hang out and show off what she's learned. Meanwhile, a couple of kids have gotten themselves into a bit of trouble trying to mess with a captured great sabrecub. They're spooked by those same ghost stories, so they'll offer the cub as a reward if you can deal with the hauntings. Bianca, being the adventurous sort, will convince you to go check out the source of the noises, which turns out to be Uptaten Towers. You'll sneak out of the inn at night to go exploring. Quick tip: If you decide to rest for too long at the inn, Pankraz might catch a cold. But hey, if you manage to clear out Uptaten Towers, both he and Whitey will be back to normal. ### Second/Third Generation Later on, after Whealbrook gets hit by Coburg's goons, Roundbeck is thankfully spared. You can stop by here to rest up or resupply your items. Whitey and Bianca have moved on by this point. Whitey's lost his wife, and they've sold the inn.
