Once equipped, venture just outside Tantegel Castle. The monsters in this immediate area are mostly Slimes and Red Slimes. These are the weakest enemies in the game and ideal for gaining your first few levels. Focus on defeating them to accumulate Experience Points and Gold. Aim to reach at least Level 3 or 4 before venturing too far. At Level 2, you'll learn the 'Heal' spell, which is crucial for conserving Medicinal Herbs. At Level 3, your stats will be significantly improved, making combat much more manageable. Remember to return to King Lorik to save your game frequently, especially after gaining a level or accumulating a good amount of gold. If your HP gets low, use a Medicinal Herb or return to the castle to rest at the Inn (6G).
