The Forge of the Giants is a critical location in the Mountaintops of the Giants, leading to a major boss encounter with the Fire Giant. This area is central to advancing the main storyline and can impact various questlines and game endings. Be aware that certain actions here can lock you into specific narrative paths.

The Fire Giant boss fight takes place on the South-East corner of the Mountaintops of the Giants. You can summon an ally to assist you in this battle. Completing the Fire Giant fight and subsequently lighting the Forge can have significant consequences for other questlines. Specifically, the first half of a certain quest can lead to a lock on other endings, and the second half provides the key to unlock it. It is suggested to complete the second half of this quest before lighting the Forge to avoid being locked out of options. Yura's questline is also missable; complete it up to his location in Liurnia Lake before entering the Mountaintops of the Giants to avoid missing unique rewards.
