After defeating the Elden Beast, you'll have the option to immediately start New Game+ (Journey 2) or remain in your current game cycle. New Game+ scales up enemy difficulty but allows you to keep most of your progress.
What Carries Over:
- Character Level & Stats
- Weapons, Armor, Talismans, Spells, Incantations
- Spirit Ashes & Upgrade Materials
- Map Progress (but Sites of Grace need reactivating)
- Flask Upgrades (Sacred Tears & Golden Seeds)
- Crafting Kit & Cookbooks
What Resets:
- Key Items (Great Runes, Medallions, Bell Bearings)
- Quest Progress (all NPCs reset)
- Bosses & Enemies
- Sites of Grace (need to be reactivated)
Endings:
Elden Ring has multiple endings, determined by your actions throughout the game. The main endings are:
- Elden Lord (Standard): Achieved by simply completing the main story.
- Age of the Duskborn: Achieved by completing Fia's questline.
- Age of Stars: Achieved by completing Ranni's questline.
- Lord of Frenzied Flame: Achieved by inheriting the Frenzied Flame. This ending locks you out of others unless you use Miquella's Needle.
- Blessing of Despair: Achieved by completing the Dung Eater's questline.
- Age of Order: Achieved by completing Goldmask and Brother Corhyn's questline.
