Account Creation & Character Selection

Your journey begins with account creation. You can choose between an Alpha Clone (free-to-play with limitations) or an Omega Clone (subscription-based with full access). For new players, Alpha is an excellent way to learn the ropes. Character selection involves choosing a race (Amarr, Caldari, Gallente, Minmatar), bloodline, and schooling. These choices primarily affect your starting location and initial skill set, but do not lock you into specific ship types or playstyles long-term. Pick what looks cool, as all races can eventually fly all ships with enough training.
