Cruiser & Battlecruiser Fits

Cruisers and Battlecruisers offer more flexibility and power. A PvE cruiser might use medium turrets/launchers, a medium shield/armor repairer, and active hardeners for tank. Battlecruisers, often called 'pocket battleships', can field large weapons and have significant tank. Common fits include 'active tank' (repair modules) or 'passive tank' (shield extenders, resistance modules). Consider your target's damage type and fit resistances accordingly. These ships are often used for Level 3 and some Level 4 missions, as well as small-gang PvP.
