For new players, understanding basic frigate and destroyer fits is essential. A common combat frigate fit might include small autocannons/lasers, a small shield/armor repairer, an afterburner, and warp scrambler/disruptor. Destroyers often focus on high DPS with multiple small turrets or launchers. For exploration, a frigate would use a probe launcher, data/relic analyzers, and a cloaking device. Always use modules appropriate for your skills and budget. Don't fly what you can't afford to lose, especially in PvP.
