Display Cases & Collectibles
Showcasing your hard-earned treasures is a rewarding aspect of Fallout 76, and Display Cases offer the perfect solution. These C.A.M.P. items allow you to proudly exhibit your collection of rare weapons, armor, bobbleheads, magazines, and other unique items, turning your wasteland abode into a personalized museum.
Unlocking Display Cases:
Display Cases are not immediately available upon starting the game. Players must unlock them through various means:
- Atomic Shop: Many of the most aesthetically pleasing and functional display cases are available for purchase in the Atomic Shop using Atoms.
- Scoreboard Rewards: Certain tiers on the seasonal Scoreboard may offer unique display case options as rewards.
- Quest Rewards: Occasionally, specific display cases might be offered as rewards for completing certain quests or challenges.
- Crafting: Some basic display cases can be crafted at your C.A.M.P. once you have learned the relevant plans, which can be found in the world or purchased from vendors.
Types of Display Cases:
Fallout 76 features several display cases, each with different dimensions and capacities:
- Weapon Displays: Desed to showcase firearms, melee weapons, and Power Armor pieces.
- Armor Displays: For presenting individual armor pieces or outfits.
- Bobblehead Stands: Specifically desed to hold your collection of Vault-Tec Bobbleheads.
- Magazine Racks: For displaying your collection of magazines.
- General Display Cases: Versatile cases that can hold several smaller items, such as holotapes, keycards, or unique trinkets.
Placing and Arranging Items:
Once you have unlocked and placed a display case at your C.A.M.P., you can interact with it to open its inventory. From here, you can select items from your Stash to place on display. The game provides a visual representation of how the item will appear in the case.
Tips for Displaying:
- Curate Your Collection: Choose items that are rare, have sentimental value, or represent sificant achievements.
- Thematic Displays: Create themed displays, such as a collection of pre-war artifacts, a showcase of your favorite weapons, or a memorial to fallen comrades.
- Strategic Placement: Position your display cases in prominent areas of your C.A.M.P. to impress visitors.
