The game's open-world design and emergent gameplay shine in the post-campaign phase, allowing you to truly embrace the role of a mercenary without the immediate pressure of the main storyline.

Continuing Your Mercenary Career

Upon completing the main narrative, you'll find yourself back in the world, free to explore and tie up any loose ends. The conflict between the UFLL and APR continues, ensuring that the world remains dynamic and dangerous.

Faction Missions

Even after the main story concludes, you can still undertake side missions for both the UFLL and APR. These missions are often procedurally generated or repeat specific objectives, providing a continuous stream of combat encounters and opportunities to earn Blood Diamonds. Look for the faction representatives at their respective headquarters:

• UFLL Headquarters: Located in the northern district of Leboa-Sako, often marked by a large, fortified compound.

Buddy Missions

While the main narrative involving your buddies might conclude, you can still encounter them in the world, particularly at safe houses. They might offer additional, smaller tasks or simply provide dialogue that fleshes out the ongoing conflict. Keep an eye out for their icons on your map when near a safe house.

Hunting for Collectibles

If you haven't already, the post-game is the perfect time to meticulously scour the map for all hidden items. This not only provides a sense of completion but also offers practical benefits.

Locating Diamond Briefcases

There are 221 Diamond Briefcases scattered across the two regions of Leboa-Sako and Bowa-Seko. Each briefcase contains a varying amount of Blood Diamonds. While some are found in plain sight, many are hidden in obscure locations, requiring careful exploration. Utilize your in-game map, which will show a small blinking light when you are within approximately 50-100 meters of a briefcase. Equipping the "Diamond Hand" perk from the weapon shop upgrades can increase the detection range, making this task significantly easier.

• Strategy: Systematically clear out each map sector. Drive along roads and then venture off-road into dense jungle or rocky areas. Many briefcases are near abandoned vehicles, small shacks, or under bridges.
• Reward: Blood Diamonds, essential for purchasing and upgrading all weapons.

Finding Jackal Tapes

There are 9 Jackal Tapes hidden throughout the game world, offering additional lore and insight into the mysterious antagonist. These are often found in more significant locations, such as mission objectives or larger outposts. While they don't offer direct in-game benefits, they enrich the narrative experience.

Weapon Acquisition and Mastery

With an abundance of Blood Diamonds from post-game missions and collectibles, you can finally unlock and fully upgrade every weapon available at the weapon shops. This allows for extensive experimentation with different loadouts and combat styles.
