The Reputation System in Far Cry New Dawn (Arcade) is your primary progression mechanic, dictating access to stronger weapons, vehicles, and the ability to upgrade your home base, Prosperity. Increasing your Reputation Level is crucial for tackling higher-tier enemies and expeditions. Think of it as your overall standing in Hope County, directly reflecting your impact on the post-apocalyptic world.

Understanding Reputation Levels

There are several Reputation Levels, each unlocking new tiers of crafting recipes and upgrades. You can always check your current Reputation Level by opening the in-game menu and navigating to the "Progression" tab. A higher Reputation Level means:

• Access to more powerful weapons and vehicles at the Workbench.
• Ability to upgrade Prosperity facilities to higher levels, granting better perks and resources.
• Encountering tougher, but more rewarding, Highwaymen patrols and outposts.

Earning Reputation Points

Accumulating Reputation Points is straightforward, but requires consistent engagement with the world. Here are the most effective methods:

1. Completing Story Missions

The main story quests are your most significant source of Reputation Points. Each completed mission, from "Crawling from the Wreckage" to "Find Hope" and beyond, grants a substantial boost. Prioritize these to quickly climb the early Reputation ranks.

• Strategy: Follow the main quest markers on your map. Don't get too sidetracked early on if your goal is rapid Reputation gain.

2. Liberating Outposts

Outposts are Highwaymen strongholds scattered across Hope County. Liberating them not only earns you Reputation Points but also provides Ethanol, a vital resource for upgrading Prosperity. Each outpost has a difficulty tier, indicated by the number of chevrons next to its icon on the map. Higher tier outposts yield more Reputation.

• First Liberation: Successfully clearing an outpost for the first time provides a significant Reputation bonus.
• Scavenging: After liberating an outpost, you have the option to "Scavenge" it. This resets the outpost, allowing the Highwaymen to reclaim it at a higher difficulty. Re-liberating a scavenged outpost grants even more Reputation and Ethanol. This is an excellent repeatable activity.
• Stealth Bonus: Liberating an outpost without being detected grants an additional Reputation bonus. Use silenced weapons like the "Saw Launcher" (once unlocked) or melee takedowns for maximum efficiency.

3. Completing Expeditions

Expeditions are off-map missions that take you to unique locations outside Hope County. These are high-risk, high-reward activities that offer excellent Reputation and rare crafting materials.

• Accessing Expeditions: Expeditions are accessed via the "Helicopter" facility at Prosperity. Upgrade this facility to unlock higher-tier expeditions.
• Difficulty Tiers: Similar to outposts, expeditions have difficulty tiers. Higher tiers offer more Reputation and better rewards.

4. Helping Survivors and Specialists

Throughout your journey, you'll encounter various survivors and Specialists who need assistance. Completing their side missions or helping them in random encounters will often reward you with Reputation Points.

• Specialist Missions: Missions from Specialists like "Nana" or "Horatio" not only progress their individual storylines but also contribute to your overall Reputation.
• Random Encounters: Keep an eye out for blue diamond icons on your mini-map, indicating a survivor in distress or a small objective. These quick tasks offer minor Reputation boosts.

5. Destroying Highwaymen Convoys

Highwaymen convoys are heavily armed vehicles transporting Ethanol. Intercepting and destroying them will grant you Reputation Points and Ethanol.
