FFX: Overdrive Management
Mastering Overdrives in Final Fantasy X is crucial for powerful attacks. Tidus receives the Brotherhood sword, which starts with Strength +5% and later upgrades to Strength +10%. Valefor can learn a second Overdrive, Energy Blast, by speaking with the dog in Besaid's third eastern house after the item shop girl mentions her dog found something. Kimahri, the game's Blue Mage, learns Ronso Rages (enemy attacks) by using Lancet on enemies with wieldable skills, instantly maxing his Overdrive gauge.
- Brotherhood Sword: Tidus receives this from Wakka. Initially provides Strength +5%, later upgrading to Strength +10%.
- Valefor's Energy Blast: To acquire this Overdrive for Valefor:
- Receive the Brotherhood sword from Wakka.
- Speak with the girl with the dog in the item shop in Besaid until she mentions her dog found something.
- Go to the third eastern house in Besaid and speak with the dog.
- Kimahri's Ronso Rages: Kimahri learns enemy attacks as Overdrives using his Lancet ability. When he successfully learns a skill, his Overdrive gauge will max out. For example, he learns Seed Cannon from a Ragora in the Woods.
