What's New in the HD Remaster

The Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is a 2013 role-playing video game compilation developed and published by Square Enix. It features high-definition remasters of Final Fantasy X (2001) and Final Fantasy X-2 (2003), originally developed by Square for the PlayStation 2. This compilation includes:

• Upgraded Visuals: Enhanced graphics for both games.
• International Content: Story content previously only found in the International versions is now accessible outside Japan.
• New Audio Drama: A new audio drama set one year after the events of X-2.

  • - Speak to the man looking through a sphere recorder to witness the new Youth League Headquarters being built (also in CH3 and CH5 for the Invincible ACC).
  • ~ Ether directly to the west of the save sphere past the boats.
  • # Giving the sphere to New Yevon forfeits 100% in one playthrough but can yield more items.
• Mushroom Rock Road:
  • * At The Den Of Woe, speak to Nooj.
  • * Youth League Headquarters, speak with Elma and Lucil.
  • * Board the Airship and watch 'Crimson Record 7'.
  • - Crimson Sphere 7 is given by Nooj in the Den of Woe.
  • - Shining Mirror GG is only obtainable through a New Yevon playthrough.
  • ~ Two Turbo Ethers and an Ether in the ravine.
• Djose Temple:
  • * Speak to Gippal by Djose Temple.
  • - Gippal gives you an Al Bhed Primer.
  • ~ Steal an Ether from League Mage (New Yevon only).
• Bevelle:
  • - Get the Blood of the Beast GG by saying "Go for it!" to Pacce where you fought Bahamut (New Yevon only).
• Kilika Island:
  • * Mission Complete.
  • - Storm Cannon BB can be learned from Ironside.
  • - Samurai DS on the ground in the last room of the Cloister of Trials.
  • - Chaos Maelstrom GG obtained from the lady if you found all 13 squatter monkeys.
  • - Bushido Lore for sneaking through the gate undetected.
  • - Speak to the man looking through a sphere recorder to witness the new Youth League Headquarters being built (also in CH5 for the Invincible ACC).
  • ~ Turbo Ether to the left from the save sphere past the boats.
