Al Bhed Compilation Sphere
The Al Bhed Compilation Sphere is a crucial tool for understanding the Al Bhed dialect in Final Fantasy X. Located in the Submerged Ruins, this sphere allows players to compile Al Bhed primers, translating the unique language used by the Al Bhed people.
After the initial scenes in the game, you will regain control in a watery temple, specifically the Submerged Ruins. To find the Al Bhed Compilation Sphere:
- Upon regaining control, proceed forward slightly.
- If you have played the game before, turn left to immediately access the Al Bhed Compilation Sphere.
- Even if the dialect is mostly useless at this early stage, interacting with the sphere is beneficial for future translations.
- To the right of the sphere, you can attempt to read the Al Bhed language on a glyph. Behind this glyph, you will find a chest containing 200 Gil.
- South of the Sphere, there are also two Potions.
Once you have collected these items and interacted with the sphere, continue north into the next area, the Ruins: Underwater Hall. Here, follow the path left to find a Hi-Potion before proceeding northward along the main path, which will lead to a scene where the path collapses, dropping you into the water. You will then engage in battle with Sahagins.
