These are excellent for particularly challenging maps or boss encounters where you need an immediate advantage. For instance, using an Elixir on your Avatar before a difficult fight can significantly improve their chances of survival and success. While Elixirs offer a broad buff, other temporary tonics might focus on specific stats, like the Resistance Tonic for mages facing powerful magic users.
