Facing Rhea in her Immaculate One form presents one of the most significant challenges in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, demanding a high level of skill and strategic execution. The Immaculate One is a colossal dragon with devastating area-of-effect attacks and immense durability. Her primary offensive threat comes from her breath attacks, which can cover vast portions of the battlefield with fire or holy energy. These attacks are often telegraphed by her rearing back or a distinct roar, giving players a brief window to dodge roll to safety. It is crucial to stay mobile and constantly reposition yourself to avoid being caught in these wide-ranging assaults.
A key strategy when fighting the Immaculate One is to target her weak points. While her entire body is a target, specific glowing areas or exposed parts may indicate critical hit zones that deal significantly more damage. Observe her movements carefully; after certain attacks, she may expose these areas for a short duration. Characters with long-range "Noble Arts" or powerful "Combat Arts" that can be charged from a distance are ideal for exploiting these openings. For instance, a well-aimed "Arrow of Indra" from a skilled archer could land a critical blow.
The Immaculate One also employs powerful physical attacks, such as sweeping tail swipes or claw strikes. These are generally more localized but still pack a tremendous punch. Learning the timing for dodging these attacks is essential. If you are using characters that excel in close combat, such as a Swordmaster or a Fighter, focus on staying close to her flanks or rear to avoid her most direct frontal assaults, but be wary of her turning attacks. Utilizing abilities that grant temporary invincibility or a defensive buff, like a "Shield" ability, can help mitigate damage during unavoidable hits.
Managing the battlefield is also important. The Immaculate One may summon smaller dragonkin or other powerful allies to aid her. While focusing on Rhea is paramount, these adds can overwhelm you if left unchecked. Use area-of-effect abilities or characters with strong crowd-control capabilities to manage them efficiently. When Rhea begins to charge a massive, screen-filling attack, often indicated by a prolonged charge-up animation and intense visual effects, this is the prime opportunity to use your "Warrior Special" or any other high-damage abilities you have saved. A successful "Warrior Special" during this vulnerable phase can significantly deplete her health bar. Persistence and careful observation of her attack patterns are the keys to overcoming this formidable foe.
