Forza Motorsport 7 uses two primary forms of in-game currency: Credits and Tokens.
Credits (CR):
Credits are the main currency used for almost all purchases in the game. You'll use them to:
- Buy new cars from the Car Dealer.
- Purchase upgrade parts for your vehicles.
- Pay for car liveries and designs.
- Buy and sell cars in the Auction House.
How to Earn Credits:
- Completing Races: The primary source. Higher Drivatar difficulty, fewer assists, and longer races yield more credits.
- Driver Level Rewards: Credit payouts are a common prize spin reward.
- Forzathon Events: Often reward significant credit bonuses.
- Selling Cars: Sell unwanted cars from your garage or through the Auction House.
- VIP Membership: Provides a permanent 2x credit bonus after every race.
Tokens:
Tokens were a premium currency in previous Forza titles, but in Forza Motorsport 7, they are largely absent from direct purchase and are not a primary means of progression. They may appear in very limited quantities as rare rewards or for specific DLC bundles, but the game is designed to be fully playable and enjoyable using only Credits.
