Addon Player Models

Add custom player models in Garry's Mod via the Steam Workshop. Subscribe to designs and equip them in your Player Mod menu to change your in-game appearance.

Expanding Your Wardrobe with Workshop Addons:

The Steam Workshop offers thousands of custom player models, ranging from popular characters to unique creations. To use them:

  1. Browse the Workshop: Go to the Garry's Mod Workshop and search for 'Player Model'.
  2. Subscribe: Subscribe to the models you like.
  3. In-Game Selection: After restarting GMod, these models will appear in your 'Options' -> 'Player Model' menu, usually under a new category or at the end of the list.

Considerations:

  • Hitboxes: While most custom models try to match standard hitboxes, some poorly made ones might have inaccurate hitboxes, which can be an issue in combat-focused game modes.
  • Performance: Very high- or poorly optimized models can sometimes cause minor performance dips, especially on lower-end systems.
