Genshin Impact is an open-world action RPG developed by miHoYo, set in the vibrant fantasy world of Teyvat. Players begin their journey as the Traveler, one of a pair of twins separated by an unknown deity. The core gameplay loop involves exploring a vast, diverse world, completing quests, engaging in real-time combat, and collecting resources to strengthen characters. Movement is fluid, allowing for running, sprinting, climbing, and gliding, reminiscent of modern open-world titles. Combat is action-oriented, utilizing a party of up to four characters that can be swapped on the fly.
