To achieve "Hero of the People," you must liberate every occupied territory on Tsushima Island. This means completing all side tales, liberating all villages, and clearing out all Mongol encampments. The game visually tracks your progress for each region, showing you which areas are still under Mongol control. Prioritize liberating these areas as you explore the map. Look for icons indicating occupied villages and encampments. Upon liberating a village, you'll often find new merchants, hot springs, or shrines to discover, further enhancing your exploration. Mongol encampments are usually guarded by a significant number of enemies and sometimes a commander. Stealth is often your best friend here, allowing you to thin out enemy numbers before engaging directly. Clearing out all territories will not only unlock this achievement but also make the world feel more alive and less oppressive, truly making Jin the "Hero of the People." Keep an eye on your map for any remaining red areas, which sify Mongol occupation.
