Shinto Shrines

Shinto Shrines are significant locations in Ghost of Tsushima, often requiring platforming sections to reach. Successfully navigating these shrines can introduce players to core game mechanics and lead to valuable rewards. One such shrine, the Plum Blossom Shrine, serves as an early introduction to these environmental puzzles.

To find the Plum Blossom Shrine, follow the wind to a weeping woman under a bridge. She will direct you to a weak Mongol camp with a hostage. After clearing the Mongols and speaking with the hostage, you'll receive directions to a 'white leafed tree,' which marks the Plum Blossom Shrine. This shrine involves basic jumping and climbing to reach its summit.

After completing the Plum Blossom Shrine, you will be directed to a grove of white trees, easily visible from the shrine. Here, you will need to clear out more Mongols. The final hostage will then provide directions to Shigenori's Rest, which involves scrambling over obstacles and squeezing through rocks before a final confrontation with Mongols.
