Ghost Weapons & Tools
Ghost Weapons and Tools are essential for Jin Sakai's tactical approach to combat, offering diverse options for stealth, crowd control, and direct damage. These items are unlocked as Jin's "Legend" increases, which is achieved by completing various activities such as liberating camps and finishing quests. Mastering their use is key to becoming the mythical Ghost of Tsushima.
Ghost weapons are steadily unlocked as you progress through the game. Mapped to R1, weapons such as kunai (throwing knives), bombs, and sticky explosives give Jin a noticeable advantage in combat when they're used correctly. Kunai can break the guard of multiple enemies at once, while explosives can decimate tightly packed groups.
Ghost Weapons are limited — when you run out you'll have to scavenge more from dead bodies or from around the surrounding area — but you shouldn't be stingy with them. If you're being overwhelmed, use them.
- Kunai: Can break the guard of multiple enemies at once.
- Black Powder Bomb: Effective against tightly packed groups.
- Sticky Bomb: Attaches to enemies before exploding.
- Wind Chime: Used to distract enemies.
- Firecracker: Located under the Wind Chimes and requires 1 technique point to unlock.
In total there are 6 ghost weapons: Kunai, Black powder bomb, sticky bomb, Wind chime, and Firecracker. Note: only 5 appear in the Ghost Weapons menu; the 6th weapon "Firecracker" is located under the Wind Chimes and requires 1 technique point.
