Go to the Wasteland

Before setting off towards the bridge, be sure to look down at the platform below the Tetrapod to find an Omnigear and a box with Ranged Protection Gear.

While there is a lot of ground to cover and you can rush along directly towards the ruin, you may find it more difficult due to the power for the Camps being gone due to an incident affecting the Solar Tower's Energy Link. You'll be given the Side Mission "Reboot!" and can focus on that first though you still have checkpoints regardless if you wipe out.

While crossing the plains, you'll find that EVE is capable of super sprinting when undetected by enemies, but will draw her Blood Edge when detected. One approach is to scan ahead so you can dart across, but it is best to have the Stealth abilities - Ambush and Chain Charge- as it allows you to get an early advantage and even select a target after being noticed. It even works out of a full speed run, though some enemies will notice you if a nearby ally does as well - this works well against the Dozers and Hedgeboars.

Once you get there, you'll only be able to enter if you defeat Quiel - which is best done with a series of consistent perfect parries to address her chain (strike, strike, delay, strike, strike, strike, strike) as she will restore her balance after each string if you don't pull it off, so while you can wear down her down gradually - learning the pattern is key to progress here though unlocking the Focus Boost skill in the Survival Skill Tree makes it easeri to use Perfect Parry.

Retrieve the second Hyper Cell

With Blood Edge being unavailable for this area due to electromagnetic interference, you'll be limited to the Drone's firing modes for self-defence but have no shortage of ammunition even if you didn't upgrade yet. You'll also need to avoid attacks with the Perfect Dodge instead of Parry as you cannot block without your blade and have to defeat all enemies in the vicinity to advance as you cannot operate doors or machinery when in combat.

Rather than a rocky ruin, this location is an abandoned lab with many operational doors and switches, but you'll have to stay alert to avoid being caught off guard by any foes as they are not usable when in combat. Not too long after the Purification Scanner, you'll find some more humanoid Naytiba and that Test Subject minion in a red bag and should take note of the order of a series of shapes on the wall left from the door forward - Triangle (△), Circle (◯), Cross (X), Square (□) - note the triangles within the shapes pointing you forwards as most of the shapes are symmetrical.

This pattern is important to remember in the next room (Sector A07) - you'll need to loop around the following shapes in a clockwise order that you see from your controller and repeat them. You can plan using both the table to the right which is facing the same way that you'll be going and/or the above image which is based on your the path looking back. You have the option to improvise your route a little bit as you can jump more than a single platform forward.

The next room in order to proceed into the Specimen Preservation Lab where you can enable the laser from up the ladder near where you enter. The laser will free some specimens if you aren't careful but can also act as a line of defence.

You take a lift down into the Top Secret Research Complex where you can find a Camp and materials before getting to the Deteriorated Lobby, you'll be forced into an arena with lasers for walls though enemies can walk right through them - stay strong in the centre to survive. After a lift up, you'll reach another Camp and pass a box before crossing a corridor which ends with a special box near to some ammo before you'll have access down into the Air Vent which has a setpiece you'll have to clear by defeating a distant Hive while avoiding exploding barrels.

From there, you won't be far from a Waypoint [Bottom of the Heart of the Infection] which is not far from the monster ruling this ruin.

While being empowered by the Hyper Cell you're seeking, you'll still need to take it down with just the firearms that you have equipped which mainly involves using evading tactics to back away from its roaring wind and when it unleashes organic
