How to Save:

  1. Go to a Safehouse: Your first safehouse is in Broker, and more will become available as you progress through the story. Look for the green house icon on your minimap.
  2. Enter the Safehouse: Walk into the designated area within your safehouse.
  3. Interact with the Bed: Approach the bed and press the 'E' key (PC) or the corresponding action button on your console.
  4. Confirm Save: You will be prompted to save your game. Select an empty slot or overwrite an existing one.

Safehouses also serve as places where Niko can change clothes, watch TV, and store vehicles in the garage. It's a good habit to save frequently, especially before starting a challenging mission or after completing a significant objective. If you die or get busted, you'll respawn at the nearest hospital or police station, but your mission progress will be reset to the last save point.
