Simulated Universe: World Tier Progression
The Simulated Universe is a roguelike game mode where you build a team and navigate through various stages, collecting buffs and facing powerful enemies. As you progress, you'll unlock higher World Tiers, which offer greater challenges but also more valuable rewards. Each World Tier features a distinct set of enemies and bosses, requiring different team compositions and strategies.
Here's a general overview of World Tier progression:
- World 1-6: These early Worlds serve as an introduction to the Simulated Universe mechanics. They are relatively forgiving and are excellent for learning the game mode, experimenting with different characters, and obtaining early-game gear and materials. Clearing these Worlds is essential for unlocking the higher Tiers.
- World 7: This is where the game starts to ramp up significantly. World 7 introduces the first Planar Ornament Relic sets, such as Space Sealing Station and Belobog of the Architects. The enemies here hit harder, and you'll need a more optimized team to succeed consistently.
- World 8: Continuing the challenge, World 8 offers the Pan-Galactic Commercial Enterprise and Inert Salsotto Planar Ornament sets. The bosses in this World are particularly formidable, often featuring mechanics that can quickly overwhelm unprepared teams.
- World 9 and beyond (as they are released): Future World Tiers will continue to increase the difficulty, introducing new bosses, enemy types, and potentially new Planar Ornament sets. Each new World Tier demands further refinement of your team builds, Light Cone choices, and understanding of the game's combat mechanics.
To effectively progress through the World Tiers, focus on building a balanced team with good synergy. Ensure you have characters capable of dealing damage, providing support (healing/shielding), and debuffing enemies. Don't underestimate the power of the Blessings you collect within each run; choosing the right Blessings can drastically alter your chances of success. Regularly upgrading your characters and Light Cones is also paramount for tackling higher World Tiers.
