Tips and Tricks
Sound is Key
Hunt: Showdown heavily relies on sound for survival. Be aware of noise traps, footsteps, water, and wooden planks. Listen for distant gunshots, barking dogs, or groaning zombies to anticipate other players. Ensure your game audio is clear and be mindful of the sounds you create.
The Health Bar
- Health regenerates over time to fill the current damage bar. Use health kits to refill empty bars.
- Large bars are 50HP, small bars are 25HP.
- Reviving a downed Hunter permanently lowers their health by 1 bar.
- Health can be upgraded before a match using tokens earned from winning matches.
Damage Types
- Bleeding: Causes continuous health loss. Press [F] and hold to stop. Vulnerable while stopping.
- Poison: Does not cause damage over time, but prevents health regeneration. Wears off or can be cured with an Antidote Shot.
- Burning: Causes continuous health loss and damages maximum health. Press [F] to stop. If burning reduces health to 0, the Hunter dies permanently and cannot be revived.
