    Phase 1 (Video Powers): The fight begins similarly to the previous encounter. Augustine uses her shield and throws stone boulders, along with new ground buzzsaws. Use Bloodthirsty Blades to break her shield, knock her down three times, and trigger Karmic streaks.

    Phase 2 (Concrete Powers - Initial): Augustine transforms into a scorpion-like creature. She attacks by smashing her legs into the ground and shooting projectiles. You start with no Concrete powers.

    Obtain Boulder Dash: Survive until Eugene provides a Core Relay. Drain it to gain the Boulder Dash ability.

    Obtain Concrete Shrapnel: A second Core Relay will grant you the Concrete Shrapnel ability, allowing you to shoot with R2. Augustine will add a new move: smashing both front legs into the ground when you deal enough damage.

    Obtain Concrete Thrusters: The Concrete Thrusters ability is unlocked next, allowing you to hover. Continue fighting Augustine, who uses the same moves.

    Obtain Concrete Barrage: The final Core Relay grants the Concrete Barrage move (R1), which deals significant damage. Use normal shots between recharges.

    Dodging Projectiles: To dodge Augustine's increasingly quick projectile attacks, go to the opposite side of the arena and dash horizontally back and forth, starting when she is about to shoot.

    Phase 3 (Final Form & Abilities): Augustine may gain new attacks: sliding along the ground (use hover to go over her) and transforming into a snake to lunge (dash to the other side). Keep attacking her with Concrete Barrage and normal shots until her health is depleted.

  • Use the hover ability (Concrete Thrusters) to evade Augustine's ground slide attack.
  • Dash to the side to avoid her snake lunge attack.
  • Conserve Concrete Barrage for when it's fully charged, using normal shots in between.
