The Stone Guardian is a formidable foe that often guards ancient shrines and important pathways. Its primary threat lies in its immense physical power and its ability to summon rock projectiles. The Stone Guardian is slow-moving but hits incredibly hard, making direct confrontation a risky endeavor. Your best approach is to maintain a medium distance, allowing you to react to its slower, telegraphed attacks. When it raises its arms to slam the ground, dodge to the side to avoid the shockwave. Its rock-throwing attacks can be dodged by sidestepping or rolling. The key to damaging it is to exploit the brief moments after it completes an attack animation.

To effectively defeat the Stone Guardian, focus on its weak points, which are often glowing or exposed areas. When it performs its ground slam, a brief window opens for you to attack its legs or torso. If you have the Rot's abilities unlocked, use them to distract the Guardian or to stun it, creating larger openings for Kena to land multiple hits with her staff. The Rot can also be used to destroy the rock projectiles it summons, preventing unnecessary damage. Be patient; this is not a fight that can be rushed. Learn its attack patterns, prioritize dodging, and strike only when you are certain it is safe to do so. Successfully parrying its slower attacks can also stagger it, providing a significant opportunity for damage.
