The adorable and indispensable Rot are scattered throughout the world of Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and finding them is crucial for unlocking new abilities, upgrading Kena's powers, and progressing through the game. These little spirits are often hidden in plain sight, tucked away in secret areas, or revealed through clever use of Kena's abilities. Actively seeking out every last Rot will significantly enhance your journey and make you a more formidable Spirit Guide.
To find hidden Rot, keep a keen eye on your surroundings. They are often found in areas that require a bit of extra exploration, such as behind waterfalls, in hidden caves, or on ledges that are not immediately accessible. Kena's Pulse ability is your best friend when searching for them; use it frequently in new areas, as it can highlight interactive objects and hidden pathways that might lead to Rot. The Rot themselves will also sometimes react to the presence of other hidden Rot, gathering around or pointing towards their location. Some Rot might be protected by environmental puzzles or require specific actions to be freed. For example, you might need to clear corrupted growth with Kena's abilities or solve a small puzzle to reveal them. revisit areas you've already explored, as new abilities or upgrades might grant you access to previously unreachable locations where hidden Rot are waiting.
