In the heat of battle, especially when facing multiple enemies, knowing which target to prioritize can be the difference between victory and defeat. Kena: Bridge of Spirits often throws waves of enemies at you, and a strategic approach to target selection is crucial for crowd control and survival. Identifying the most immediate threats and dealing with them efficiently will allow you to manage the battlefield more effectively.
When engaging groups of enemies, always assess the situation and identify the most dangerous threats first. This often includes enemies with ranged attacks, those that inflict status effects (like poison or corruption), or those that are particularly aggressive and hard to pin down. Elite enemies and mini-bosses, if present, should almost always be your top priority, as they pose the greatest risk. If there are enemies that buff or heal their allies, they should also be dealt with swiftly. Utilize Kena's abilities and her Rot companions to focus damage on your chosen target. For instance, you might use the Rot to stun a high-priority enemy while Kena unleashes a flurry of attacks. Conversely, if you're facing a swarm of weaker enemies, it might be more efficient to use area-of-effect attacks or abilities that can damage multiple foes at once to thin their numbers before focusing on a more significant threat.
