Walkthrough:

  1. Tex's Office: Collect all mail (sales flyer, Gift Certificate, application), get the gun, examine and play the Phono Graph, examine the ex-wife's photo. Get the credit card application for the Electronics shop from Tex's Office. Examine the application, open the desk drawer to get the stamp, then open the desk drawer again to get the ink pen. Combine the pen and the application to create a signed application. Combine the stamp and the signed application to create a ready-to-mail application. Examine the fax machine on top of the cabinet and the Crime link Computer on the table behind Tex's desk. Examine the mailbox, go down to the street and find a mailbox. Examine Rusty's place.
  2. Find Some Work: Go to the Pawnshop and talk to Rook (dialogue choices: B-A-B-A-A-B-C). Get the glass shard from the alley behind the pawnshop. Examine the shard (clue: Red Hair) and the footprint (clue: about size 14). Get the Basketball and play with it. Pull down the staircase, climb it, and open the door. Examine the dumpster, open it, and look inside. Examine the radio, get the Radio, examine it again to get the batteries, and examine the batteries. Open the fence and go through to the street. Get the newspaper in front of the door at the Brew & Stew. Examine the Newspaper and read all articles. Go to the newsstand and talk to Chelsee (dialogue choices: B-A-B-A; clues: Green eyes, tattoo of anchor on arm).
  3. Police Station & Alley: Go to the police station and talk to Mac Malden (dialogue choices: A-A-C; clues: White, AB-). Getting Mac to talk about the Martian case will get you halfway there. Note the controls: SPACE BAR for MODE CHANGE, SPACEBAR+CTR to GET DOWN LOW, SPACE BAR+SHIFT to GET UP HIGH, SPACE BAR+E to GET UP FAST. Go to the alley and talk to the bum until he tells you about his addiction (dialogue choices: B-B).
