In Kirby Super Star, Helpers are enemies turned allies that can assist Kirby. They can be controlled by the game's AI or by a second player, offering a new layer of cooperative gameplay. If Kirby has a Copy Ability, pressing the A button will summon a Helper in exchange for Kirby's current ability. Nearly the entire game is playable in co-op multiplayer with a Helper.
