Acquiring Players
The core of MUT is acquiring player cards. There are several ways to do this:
- Packs: Purchased with coins (in-game currency) or Madden Points (real-money currency). Packs contain a random assortment of players, collectibles, and other items.
- Auction House: A player-driven marketplace where you can buy and sell individual player cards. This is often the most efficient way to acquire specific players you need.
- Challenges: Completing solo challenges often rewards specific player cards, packs, or coins.
- Sets: Exchange unwanted player cards or collectibles for higher-rated players or special items.
Focus on building a balanced team with good chemistry. Chemistry boosts players' attributes when they share team affiliations or specific archetypes.
Understanding Chemistry & Schemes
Chemistry is vital in MUT. Players from the same NFL team or with matching scheme archetypes (e.g., 'Zone Run' offense, 'Man Defense') will receive attribute boosts. Aim to have multiple players from the same team or scheme to maximize these boosts. For example, having several Kansas City Chiefs players will activate 'Chiefs Chemistry,' making them perform better.
- Objective: Build a high-rated team with strong chemistry.
- Strategy: Prioritize acquiring players that fit your preferred scheme and team chemistry. Use the Auction House to fill specific gaps in your roster.
- Reward: Stronger team, better performance in challenges and online play.
