Dry Bones

Dry Bones is the only Defensive player available besides the captains. While his passing and shooting are weak, lob passing is effective, and his Skillshot, Shocker, provides a good scoring opportunity. His Deke is Teleport, where he rolls forward, disappears, and reappears at a directed location.

Tactics: Players often use Dry Bones to teleport into the net or use Shocker on Kritter (the goalie). The ball typically bounces back to Dry Bones after hitting Kritter, creating a scoring chance. A less common tactic is 'Chip & Run', which can be countered by tackling.

Hammer Bro

Hammer Bro is an Offensive Sidekick who is very effective if not spammed. His Deke is Hammer Smash, where he slams a hammer into the ground. His Skillshot is Hammer Throw, where he jumps and throws hammers before kicking the ball.

Tactics: Some players resort to 'Hammer Spamming' (repeatedly using the deke), which is easily countered. Other tactics involve using the Skillshot opportunistically.

What to look out for: Hammer Spamming is annoying but predictable. Avoid letting him use Hammer Throw.

Rating: 8/10

Boo

Boo is a Playmaker sidekick known for scoring through dekes and movement rather than shooting. His normal shots are weak, and his Skillshot, Possess, is generally ineffective unless very close to the goalie. His Deke is Short Teleport, a fast, short-range disappearance and reappearance that requires a recharge.

Tactics: Teleporting into the goal is effective. The Skillshot is only useful near the goalie.

What to look out for: Boo players may teleport past the goalie.

Toad

Toad is a returning Playmaker sidekick, known for being small, annoying, and a great passer. His Deke is Shroom Jump, a backflip that can be used to jump the goalie if timed correctly. His Skillshot is Fire Meteor, which sets the goalie's hands on fire, preventing them from picking up the ball but still allowing saves.

Tactics: Toad is primarily used as a setup player or for 'jump the goalie' tactics, as his shots are weak.

What to look out for: Assume Toad is attempting to jump the goalie, as this is more dangerous than his setup role. Tackle him with Power characters.

Rating: 5/10

Birdo

Birdo is a Power sidekick with strong tackles and shooting, though her passing is less ideal. Her Deke is Spin Dry, where she spins with the ball, damaging nearby opponents. Her Skillshot is Extreme Egg, a powerful shot that crushes the goalie and scores.

Tactics: Birdo is effective anywhere on the field.
