Alliance Requisitions & Upgrades
To effectively combat the Reaper threat, Shepard must leverage the resources of the Systems Alliance. Alliance Requisitions involve acquiring vital equipment, intel, and personnel that bolster your war effort. Upgrading your fleet and military assets is paramount, as these directly contribute to your Galactic Readiness score and the strength of your forces in the final battle.
Throughout your journey, you'll encounter opportunities to acquire Alliance Requisitions. These often come in the form of side missions, dialogue choices, or by purchasing them from specific vendors. Each requisition typically grants a new War Asset, which is a quantifiable measure of your military strength. These assets range from naval fleets and ground troops to research facilities and specialized units.
The Citadel is a primary hub for acquiring many of these requisitions. Various terminals and shops allow you to purchase intel, research data, and even specialized equipment. For example, the Elkoss Combine Arsenal Supplies terminal offers various items that can contribute to your war effort. Similarly, completing specific Citadel side missions can unlock unique Alliance War Assets.
Beyond direct acquisitions, Shepard can also influence the Alliance's capabilities through strategic decisions. For instance, ensuring the survival of key Alliance personnel or securing vital research data can lead to significant upgrades in your fleet's effectiveness. The choices made during main story missions, particularly those involving Alliance interests, can also unlock new requisition opportunities.

- Citadel Vendors: Purchase intel, research data, and specialized equipment.
- Side Missions: Many assments directly reward you with Alliance Requisitions or unlock new ones.
- Dialogue Choices: Persuading key individuals or making specific diplomatic choices can lead to Alliance support.
