Omega Metroids are colossal and incredibly powerful. They are slow but deal massive damage with their attacks, which include fire breath and powerful charges. They are the toughest Metroids you'll face before the Queen.
Strategy: Omega Metroids are a true test of your skills. Use the Screw Attack to your advantage, but be careful not to get hit by their attacks. Their weak point is often their underbelly or head when they open their mouth to attack. Unleash a barrage of missiles and charged shots. Conserve your energy tanks, as you'll likely take significant damage. Defeating these will clear the path to the Metroid Queen.
