Walkthrough

    Collect 9 Runes from the main levels (excluding the Tutorial Level, Squid Coast).

    After beating the game, go to the right of your house at your Camp.

    Use the piston launch pad (a mechanism that propels you upwards) to cross the gap.

    Find the broken Nether Portal on the other side.

    Locate a hidden path southwest (left) of the Nether Portal, leading to the Church.

    Flip the nearby lever to lower the drawbridge for easier access.

    Enter the Church and go to the very back.

    Place your collected Runes in the designated spot.

    Once all nine Runes are placed, you will unlock the Secret Cow Level, accessed via a map found inside the Church.

Rune Locations:

  • Rune 1 (Creeper Woods): In the area where you rescue Villagers, find a stone platform. Stepping on a stone triggers a door, revealing the Rune.
  • Rune 2 (Soggy Swamp): Near the level exit, to the right, find a mushroom-disguised button at the base of a stone tower. Pushing it opens a nearby door.
  • Rune 3 (Cacti Canyon): Outside the small area with the Blue Key Golem, find a button hidden near a palm tree to the left. This opens a door inside the Blue Key Golem area.
  • Rune 4 (Redstone Mines): In the area where you free Villagers a second time, find a button near a flat section of wall. Pressing it opens a door set into the wall.
  • Rune 5 (Pumpkin Pastures): Along the castle wall (above the Secret Chest area), find a button. Pressing it opens a door set into the stone wall at the end of the rampart.
  • Rune 6 (Fiery Forge): Inside the mine, in the area with the broken Redstone Golem, find a lever on the wall at the bottom of the stairs. This opens a nearby hidden door.
  • Rune 7 (Desert Temple): In the area with the Gold Key Golem, find a lever behind the back palm tree. Flipping it opens a nearby door.
  • Rune 8 (Highblock Halls): In the large area with the Well and the Key Golem, find a lever along the back wall near the bridge/overlook in the center area.
  • Rune 9 (Obsidian Pinnacle): Inside the library, near the end of the area, interact with a book on a shelf along an unreachable wall to open a nearby door.
Tips
  • The Secret Cow Level is an excellent place to grind for Experience Points (EXP).
  • You can fight numerous Mooshrooms and a special boss, the Mooshroom Monstrosity.
  • The Mooshroom Monstrosity fight is similar to the Redstone Monstrosity, but without Cores to overload. Rely on Artifacts and weapons, especially your Bow.
  • Keep your distance from the Mooshroom Monstrosity to avoid its projectiles.
  • Equip good gear for the Mooshroom Monstrosity boss battle, as it can be challenging.
